What is Rosin Extract?

Our Rosin+ Hemp Extract is completely Solventless and Chemical Free! We begin by using only heat and pressure to extract all the cannabinoids and terpenes from the plant – this step is called rosin extraction.

Why is it called Rosin+? We take it a little further than just the rosin extraction. We mix our solventless crude oil with MCT oil and set it aside. We then take the left over plant material and don’t let it go to waste. We do a two step burning process, filter that ash through with water, and then evaporate the water. This leaves behind the mineral salts of the plant which are then added back into the tincture.

Why Choose Rosin?

Rosin extracts are completely free of all butane, CO2, and ethanol, which are otherwise common solvents for cannabis extraction. This makes it a clean way to consume cannabis oil. Rosin extracts also provide the fullest benefits of the cannabis plant, as all constituents of the extract are eventually reintroduced to the tincture.  Rosin extraction preserves the most terpenes and minor cannabinoids that are otherwise lost to the solvents. Providing a full synergistic effect, this product tends to be more effective and potent.

What is Spagyric Extract?

While Spagyric extraction techniques have been around for many years, we are one of the only companies to still use this method.

Spagyric extraction is an alcohol-based extraction, so it begins with washing the plant material with ethanol. Once the plant material is washed, the alcohol is poured out, leaving behind the strained plant material. The ethanol-based extraction undergoes a meticulous process to evaporate the alcohol and purify the crude oil left behind.

The left over plant material is then burned, and the ash from the burn is then filtered through distilled water. This water is slowly evaporated to crystallize the minerals & salts. These are then added back into the tincture.
